चुनी राहें हमने भी, खोली बाहें हमने भी ,

सब रातें खाली हुईं हैं ! हम जागे हैं जब कभी।

कुछ सियाही सी , नदिया जो रेत की -

गलियों से गुजरती, भागे है जब कभी।

रुख जो हवाओं का , संग ले गया ज़मी,

वो मस्त बहारों का- रंग, ले गया नमी,

हम जोश मे अपने, करतब दिखाते हैं,

मिट जायें! कभी नही ! ख्वाब वो सजाते हैं।

फिज़ाओं से बही जो- पलकों की बूँद तक,

सजी आँखों मे अपने- खुदा की रूह जब कभी।

चुनी राहें हमने भी...........

मासूम सा एक पल, नई ज़िन्दगी अपनी,

हर इश्क पे सजदा है, नई बंदगी अपनी,

हम होश मे अपने- इश्क को मिलाते हैं,

थम जायें! कभी नही- धुन वो जगाते हैं।

फ़िर चमकती शाम मे, नई मौज सी लगी,

छुपी पत्तों पे जैसे- सूरज की लौ जब कहीं।

Meaning -

He has chosen his own way, He has opened his arms for everyone, All rhythms with dark nights have gone...When he plays his music once.

He is full of life and playing his wonderful magic. That can't be destroyed, never.Because he is giving new dreams and he is like a new dream...those will always sustain. Whenever he thinks with soul of God, he produces rhythm from all “Paanch Tatwa – Dharti, Agni, Vaayu , Jal, Aakash” (Five elements of the nature – Earth, Fire, Air, Water, Sky)

His small span is like weather, which gives everything to us. His music like a prayer of love...and worship like a lover..He always says, lets come with me below the wide Sky....and decorate new rhythm of the heart like a candle from small-small creature of God. We've got shadow of light (Rahman Sir) and the light is coming from fragrance of the garden of Seven Stars (Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Dha Ni Sa).
